• Plan to sell 7 million Hybrid Electric vehicle till 2020
• Government announced INR 10000 crore for FAME Scheme II on April 19
• GST reduction to buy Electric Vehicle from 12% to 5%.
• 100% exemption of Custom Duty
• Additional Income Tax waiver of Rs. 1.5 lacs on interest paid on loan for purchasing Electric Vehicle.
• Government is thinking for Cab aggregators like Ola and Uber should switch to Electric Cabs.
• Government is targeting to operate only Electric Two Wheeler & Three Wheeler by 2025.

Current trend of Electric Vehicle Technology

• Education - Viewing to current skill demand in industry education system are updated. Any engineering graduate, ITI, diploma & non-technical graduates are the ideal candidates to make their career in Electric Vehicle Industry.
• Electric Vehicle Industry - Indian government is very cautious about environmental control on pollutions. To fight with pollution we have to reduce our everyday Carbon emission to the environment. Electric Vehicle is a significant alternative to reduce daily carbon emissions which is right now in very dangerous level.
• Research & development - As Electric Vehicle Industry is not fully established yet, in fact we can say Electric Vehicle is right now in its preliminary stage.
